Determined to anything but a statistic, College Station, Arkansas’ Garrett Moses, Tommy Wrekz, was raised without a father figure and witnessed his mother struggle to provide the family a life that she didn’t have. As a bi-racial child, half black and half white, he was bullied and found comfort in music. He’s a self-taught producer, recording engineer, songwriter, singer, and rapper who has accumulated over 500,000 views on YouTube as an independent artist. “I’m just doing what everyone told me I couldn’t do, and trying to change the world while doing it,” explains Tommy.
