Tia P Is An Award Winning Songwriter A Musician And An Actress

Tia P is an accomplished entertainer who showed early signs of greatness. She describes herself as an entertainer, saying “because what I do is beyond the scope of being Rapper. I’m also a drummer, producer, singer, songwriter and actress.” At the age of 15, she won the International Songwriting Competition/Teen Category her composition “Music Is Fundamental.”

One of the prizes was a Summer Internship at Berklee School of Music in Boston. She attended and was offered a full scholarship, which she graciously turned down because she had been accepted in accepted into the Historical HBCU Howard University. Tia P graduated from there with honors in 2015 with a major in Psychology. 3 months after graduation, her manager got her an agent and she booked her first national commercial with Pepsi that featured pop sensation Tori Kelly. 3 months later, she was the first American to win the Australian Songwriting competition and last year she won the John Lennon Songwriting Competition and was awarded the opportunity to perform on the largest stage at the NAMM Convention. In addition to the above, she shared the stage with notable artists like Boosty Collins, DJ Quik, KRS 1, June’s Diary and a host of other artists.

Tia P is working on her EP “Peek-A-Boo.” She also has a Christmas song titled “Christmas in Cali.” She is looking for song placements with stars, but her ultimate goal is to know that her art had a positive impact on someone’s life.
