The Coleman Brothers, Embodying The Spirit Of Country

The Coleman Brothers began at a young age playing in their father’s band, later calling themselves The Young Riders, and winning numerous battle of the bands competitions several years in a row. Texas legend Mr. Larry Butler took them under his wing and it was not long before The Coleman Brothers would open for Willie Nelson, Dierks Bently, Ray Price, and Louise Mandrell. Denny and Greg Coleman are known in Nashville not only for their hits songs but also for their incredible songwriting capabilities. They are highly sought after on music row and have collaborated with the best in the business. Their powerful true down to earth approach combines old time country music with a new twist giving you yesterday’s music with today’s feel.

Their first release “Back On The Farm” (2009) received a chart topping #1 on NMW (New Music Weekly) chart and Cashbox Magazine Chart. It hit #67 on Music Row charts and was mid-range numbers on Texas music charts. When The Coleman Brothers released “Ghost Town” (4th release since 2010) radio airplay quickly established it as a new hit single. It became the 5th most downloaded NMW song. In addition to the State Fireman’s and Fire Marshall’s Association of Texas endorsement, they are official members of The CMA’s, CRS Music Festival 2013, and CMA Music Festival Fan Fair. They made their film debut with “Divorce Texas Style” in which the band will be featured in a bar scene as well as a number of songs from the soundtrack.

In 2015 The Coleman Brothers are looking forward to releasing a new single, tentatively in August. Their group consists of Denny and Greg Coleman, Don Hutchko, Jim Davis, Gary Porter, and assisting with management Ms. Sari Hewlett-Pacheco. They are currently getting air time on KSBT (Mike Hammond Show), KXAX radio (Jason McLelland), and television (Houston’s Own Country). Nashville and Country music have seen many changes throughout the years. The Coleman Brothers continue to embody the true spirt of Country music with down home feel and emotion making it the heart and soul of each performance. They live it, they write it, and they sing it.
