The singer and songwriter based now in Chicago has moved around a lot over the years, but was born in Bedford-Stuyvesant, NYC in 1960. Rich Krueger has been writing and performing, both solo and with his former band The Dysfunctionells, largely in Chicago and NYC since 1985. His music has also been featured on radio stations worldwide including London, Canada, India, Dubai, Melbourne, and many cities in the United States. Add to that an MD and PHD from the University of Chicago. He’s a former research neuroscientist and he currently practicing Neonatologist in Chicago.

Now in 2017 Rich Krueger is in the process of making two new full length albums which will come out the fall of 2017 and in the winter of 2018. Recorded by Bull Kavanagh at BobDog Studios, and produced by himself and Urbana’s Paul Kotheimer, the albums feature many great musicians from around the country including John Fullbright and Jay Ansill. His goals are pretty simple: live honestly, do good work, make music with his friends, and get as many people to hear his song as possible.
