Otis Oak Is Unorthodox Lyrically

When it comes to being musically inclined, Otis Oak’s becoming a known presence in the music business and is making a name for himself. From innovative and vanguard lyrics to impactful performances and styles, the music’s speaking for itself and people are listening. Don’t sleep on Otis Oak because the musician might just have something ready for release that’s purely unexpected.

Born in St. Ann’s Bay, Jamaica and raised in South Florida, this artist’s musical influences are sort of a melting pot of old and new school musicians. “I consider myself unorthodox lyrically and style wise because I don’t have a signature sound or set style. I’m very open, I’m more so of the go with the mood type of artist. Aside from that signature sound, my content and my topics are pretty straight forward for the most part. I put a lot of focus into making sure everything that’s said has some sort of life value to it,” Otis Oak explains about who he is as a musician.

He currently has a single out titled “Glitter” that will be followed up by two soundtracks to complement it. After those are wrapped up he’ll be shooting short films for those three soundtracks. Moving forward Otis Oak will be releasing an LP title Not For Sale that represents his fight to create music that’s not tailored for profits. “I want it to be honest, edgy, blunt, and sincere; strictly for the culture,” he adds in.
