Joy Joseph Is An On Demand Percussionist And Artist

With a knack for music, Joy Joseph’s building a repertoire for herself in the industry. Boasting a pioneering sound along with a dynamic stage presence, this artist’s music is turning eyes and ears. This is one artist that you’ll want to keep up with and follow her career. High impact moves are being made by Joy joseph, and it won’t be long before she’s a household name.

The percussionist/drummer and singer/songwriter has made a name for herself as an in demand live percussionist on the London club scene working with a diverse range of DJs including Fat Tony, DJ Disciple, Danny Rampling, Boy George, Booker T, Rap Saunders, and Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson. Joy has lent considerable energy and as well as musical skills to countless club nights, festivals, and parties. In the last two years she began work on the audio and visual concept for “Who am I,” a blend of Afro Caribbean/hip hop and 80’s inspired electronic music.

In recent years she’s added to her reputation by making a name for herself as a vocalist and working with many groups, most notably alongside Mr. Hudson and the Library (appearing at number 2 on the UK chart) as well as Kanye West. Joy’s currently working on the dance piece Incipient Futures by choreographer Ian kaler, music composed by Jam Rostron (PlanningToRock). Incipient Futures is an energetic and intimate exploration of how music, dance, and movement form bonds and alliances. It’s about how we’re being moved as a community and asks the question where we’re heading towards as individuals and together. She’s also ready to drop her 2nd single and visual project “Drunk Drummer” which touches on the subject of addiction.
