Dali Van Gogh, HouseFire Records

When it comes to being musically inclined, Dali Van Gogh is not a new group in the recording business. From the lyrics to the overall performance and style, the music speaks for itself. Dali Van Gogh has made a name from the music as well as the quality. From the different sounds to quality of production, the music definitely stands a part. Do not forget when you hear it on the airwaves nationally or even internationally that we at RBL predicted their success. The 5 piece rock band from Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada took a 2 year hiatus and is now planning to grace the stage with a new line up and record.

Founded by guitarist Isaac Kent in 2008, Dali Van Gogh has a well talked about career in its brief time on the Atlantic Canadian rock scene. The 2012 release of Wild Blue City the band received airplay throughout the Americas and topped the Reverbnation rock charts for Halifax for 28 weeks straight. The band has been nominated for several awards including Best Artist (G-Major Awards presented by RockWired), Best EP for Mask Identity (G-Major Awards Presented by RockWired), and Best Album for Wild Blue City (Faces Choice Awards).

On the Dali Van Gogh band horizon, the group is currently in pre-production on a new album (potentially several new albums if rumors are true) and are also in the process of audition a new vocalist for the band. Isaac’s re-branding and re-launching the music company he had prior to a devastating house fire as HouseFire Records. The studio he seeks will feature an expansive live room, several isolation booths, and a mixing and mastering chamber, as well as the latest in recording hardware and software. The studio is expected to open in summer of 2016.
