W.O.N.E. Prides Himself In Being Lyrical

With notable music talent, W.O.N.E. (pronounced one) is becoming a known presence in the music business and is making a name for himself. From innovative and vanguard lyrics to impactful performances and styles, the music’s speaking for itself and people are listening. Don’t sleep on W.O.N.E. because the musician might just have something re­­ady for release that’s purely unexpected.

­This Newark, DE artist started writing and recording in 1999, but it wasn’t until December 2010 that he performed for the first; the following year he released his first album. Since that time W.O.N.E. has released two follow up albums. “I pride myself on making very lyrically driven tracks. Not just some dumb it down radio rap. I may not have the illest rap voice or catchiest club tunes, but I’ll always leave you thinking and maybe even rewinding.”

W.O.N.E. has opened for a myriad of artists like Masta Ace, Bizzy Bone, and Kool Keith as well as played at numerous local events and even headlining a few. He’s coming off his third album release titled Out Of Line and is looking forward to performing again with the intent going on his first tour. “I would love to be able to take what I do overseas to Europe and Asia where I feel the art of true old school hip hop is still highly respected more so than it currently is in the states,” he adds in.
