Wise, Game Changer

Wise, Bobby Newton, was born on May 8, 1992 in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, New York. During his elementary school years, he was introduced to poetry. After being taught all of the different forms and structures, free verse was the only type he was comfortable with using. Once it was discovered that this is what “rap” basically consisted of, he began to teach himself the “art of 16 bars” by listening to his favorite Hip Hop artists. Listening to music was always a game for him. Continuing writing poetry, by the time 9th Grade hit, intuition led Wise to understand his true purpose. He began working toward his calling, and figured it was time to let the world know.

Eventually Wise and a childhood friend (M Black) came up with a concept, to start a group named Stay Humble Music Group. This gave Wise a boost to his music career. He sold shirts with the deep and brief phrase. Immediately the shirts sold, giving him the proper finances to record his material and entertain his fans. He linked with two other rappers and they worked as a group to push this message. Wise ended up dropping his first amateur project “The Blakk Plague Theory” May 9, 2012. They say all good things come to an end and eventually the group split up due to indifferences.

Remaining solo, and free from any type of negative influence, he went on to do perform at many venues such as SOB’s, House of Vans, and etc. Also Wise has done countless showcases, open mics, and monthly cyphers getting his name known out there the old-fashioned way. Wise is about to release a game changing project entitled “F**k The Amerikkkan Dream Vol 1: Da Wake Up.” Be on the lookout for much more!
