From rhyme, rhythm, and real reason, Wisconsin’s Wisco Kidz have made a dent in today’s music and entertainment world. The dedication is no less than the best and putting in the effort to make it to the big leagues won’t be a surprise in this case. Do not forget that when you hear Wisco Kidz on the airwaves nationally or even internationally that we predicted the success.

Formed in 2011 the Green Bay duo consists of rappers Kyrie (Javier Lockridge) and YD (Mike Lawry). Together they have amassed a devoted following over the years and have released three mixtapes and one official EP project. YD is described as a natural rapper with a more laid back and technical/rhythmic flow, while Kyrie’s vocal tone and frenetic delivery bring the adrenaline. Their collective became locally recognized in the Midwest following their first joint project titled The Wake Up (2011). They then spent two years writing, creating, and producing their second self-titled mixtape Wisco Kidz (2013).

In the time Wisco Kidz has been active their notoriety has sky rocketed with the continual release of projects. Most recently they released “So Predictable” which is the first single off of their upcoming album The Wake Up 3. The single has garnered a high volume of praise and attention in the region from local athletes and celebrities. The album itself will contain never-before-heard songs and music videos filmed in locations across the country. They’re in the planning stage for a headlining tour this fall.
