Wet City Rockers are a heavy Roots/Rock/Reggae band from Seattle, Washington dishing out true Roots Reggae music with R&B and DJ style vocal overlays on everyday life, politics, humor, love, and relationships. The band was created by Micah Averiett (lead vocalist) and accompanied by guitarist Bill Patton, a well-known singer/songwriter from Seattle. The band has been in existence since 2005 and has played at many venues in the Northwest.

Their first self-titled release in the summer of 2005 received great reviews and did well with little promotion. With songs like “Marley Moons” and “Plastic girl” making the internet Reggae charts solidified the band as a true player in the vast world of Reggae music. The band performed on tour and played numerous festivals and events in the great Northwest during this time.

In 2012 Micah Averiett and Bill Patton regrouped with an improved rhythm section composed of Jarrett Mason, Ryan Bowering, and Tim Conroy. Wet City Rockers have a unique Roots/Rock/Reggae sound that you’re guaranteed to enjoy with melodic melodies, heavy one-drops, lovers Rock jams, and deejay styles alike. The band will be producing their third, most anticipated and noteworthy album, set to be released in 2016.
