TrOyMaN Clutch

TrOyMaN was born and raised in the Bay Area of California, a hip hop breeding ground to such hip hop icons as E-40, Too-Short, Digital Underground, and Tupac Shakur (one of TrOyMaN’s key musical influences).

In the summer of 2008 TrOyMaN released his first mix CD to spectacular reviews. His follow up effort, “The Preview,” was a hip-hop masterpiece that had not been witnessed on the mix tape circuit since artists like Drake, Game, and Eminem burst on the scene.

Early in his career TrOyMaN captivated viewers of BET’s 106th and Park “Wild Out Wednesday” with a memorable performance that received great feedback from Robin Thicke and resulted in him winning 1st place, a feat that would push his career into high gear.

Other noteworthy accolades include winning Best Independent Hip Hop Artist in 2009’s MTV’s Atlanta’s Best Independent Artist/Rock Your Fashion Campaign, being recognized by Lee Bailey of EUR as a 1st place winner at Uplifting Minds Talent Competition (LA), and most recently being voted 2013’s Best Male Hip Hop Artist at The Atlanta Underground Music Awards.

As fate would have it, TrOyMaN was selected by Darryl “DMC” McDaniel of the legendary rap group Run DMC to become a member of “The New Alumni” which eventually led to a collaboration between the two on the remix “Mii Addidas” which can be heard on the TrOyMaN CD entitled “CHILL^X” released in the fall of 2013 to raving reviews.

TrOyMaN’s performance as Devante’ in the award winning faith-based indie film “Laying My Past to Rest” has continued to receive national praise since its release and he continues to add to what seems to be a never ending filmography.

TrOyMaN’s latest project “EVOL” has been gaining momentum since its release and if the saying is true that real artists are born and not created, TrOyMaN is definitely poised to become one of the greatest hip hop artists of his generation.
