Claus Rainer Nisslmüller, Phobix, grew up in a musical family in Linz, Austria. 
At the age of 13 he took professional bass-guitar lessons and also exercised playing classical guitar, e-guitar, and other music instruments.

 From 2006 – 2011 Claus played the e-guitar in the metal-hardcore band InTraffic. Meanwhile he was thrilled by electronic dance music and started producing some mixes and songs under his pseudonym G7R. To this, he held a live radio show named Bärnoise on Linz’s radio channel RADIO FRO.

Among many other productions, including some special features with producers, rappers, and deejays like Def Ill, Kinetical, Kove, and many others, his first extended play “Hydrogen” was publicized on iTunes and Beatport. 

In June 2013 Phobix came up with his album “Echoes.”

 In 2014 Phobix worked for different organizations and companies as a sound designer. Among soundtracks for portfolios of 3D artists and companies, Phobix produced the soundtrack for the campaign of an international travel agency with RedbullCreative and Friendly Fire.
