Nigel Perkins, Letting R&B Live

Recording artist Nigel Perkins is a student of Atlanta music scene pioneers Monyea Crawford and Richard Rollie of LoveChild Productions. The legendary LoveChild Productions has a long term working relationship with Dallas Austin and Diva One Entertainment working to shape up and coming artists. Crawford and Rollie both have been integral to such artists as TLC, Boyz II Men, Lloyd, N-Toon, Tony Rich, Arrested Development, Van Hunt, and 112.

Since Nigel has been mentored under LoveChild Productions, he’s been featured on 3XL Magazine’s 1st ever mixtape. Other production work includes DJ Cr$style and the Legion of Doom’s Late Night Tip mixtape. He’s also toured nightclubs and the urban festival circuit throughout the south. He’s opened up for some of the biggest R&B/Hip Hop acts and performed on the road with BET Comic View and HBO’s Battle of the Comedians.

Nigel is a member of the new generation of R&B artists working to preserve this genre of music that’s been placed on the backburner for Hip Hop and booming beats. Now with new music, he’s works to create another Atlanta music scene legacy. He has large shoes to fill, but is ready for the challenge to let R&B live again.
