Mr. Smokey Seeks To Encourage Change In People

When it comes to being musically inclined, Colorado’s Mr. Smokey is not a new person in the recording business and has made a name for himself. From innovative and vanguard lyrics to overall performance and style, the music’s speaking for itself. Don’t sleep on Mr. Smokey because the musician and entrepreneur might just have something up his sleeve that’s purely unexpected with the release of his album A Rose For My Lady’s and A Kasket For My Enemies.

The Mexican rapper from Greeley gained the moniker Mr. Smokey when he was just 11. Now 30 and a proud parent to two daughters, the music that he’s producing is propelled by his children. Growing up with no father and raised by his mother who’s a supporter of his music, Mr. Smokey was in an out of cells. The silver lining to his incarceration is that he found his talent for music and is blessed to have others who listen and relate to his struggles. “The way I see it, even if I don’t make it big I can honestly say my music will live on forever and I have faith in myself when no one else does,” he remarks.

Mr. Smokey has shared the stage with Latin rap icons Kid Frost and MisterD in Phoeniz, AZ at the Super Cars Shows. His aspirations are to be able to tour the world and let others experience what he has to offer and to be heard. If he can make a change in one person, then half of his goals are completed.
