Mr. Jonze, School Days

Christopher L. Jones, better known as Mr. Jonze, was born on June 14, 1977 and first discovered his love for music at the age of 16. Mr. Jonze’s first publicly released recording, Da Twist, was released on a Gangsta Nutt album called Save Me (1999). His first solo release titled Haters was introduced in 2001 and was featured on a Pointside Records Compilation titled Out Tha Trunk Muzic. Mr. Jonze has worked intermittently with ChooseUp Entertainment, Twomp-0-Six Records, and Bigcity Record Fellas Recording Group who later released The Shakedown, a Mr. Jonze and Gangsta Nutt collaboration album. Mr. Jonze has also collaborated with other artists such as Yukmouth, Cocain, and Domino.

In 2006 Mr. Jonze decided to go independent by creating his own record label titled Smash-Mouth-Muzic-206 LLC along with a publishing company titled BigJonze Publishing. He decided to expand his business education by enrolling at Highline Community College as a business student in 2011. In 2013 Mr. Jonze received his Associates of Applied Sciences Degree. Currently he’s enrolled at Central Washington University in the Information Technology Administrative Management (ITAM) program. He’s in hot pursuit of his Bachelor’s Degree while still finding time to create music.

Mr. Jonze recently released Don’t Play Wit’em on June 13, 2015 and PAPER on June 14, 2014 from the long anticipated mixtape School Days hosted by Roc Phizzle. School Days is set to be released in the summer of 2016. The passion and drive for music and entrepreneurship that Mr. Jonze displays helps to motivate not only himself, but other artists on the rise.
