Madison Ray, Crafting A Little Something Called Stanque Pop

Madison Ray is unpredictable, so much so that one day this stunning musician might be designing clothes and the next he may be a TV personality hosting your favorite show. He is the anti-pop pop superstar, he is a creative dynamo, he is the Naked Emperor, and he has been crafting a sound he lovingly calls stanque pop – an eclectic blend of rock, soul, jazz, and funk.

Trained by Johnny Contardo of ShaNaNam he’s performed with the likes of Aaron Carter, Mya, Belinda Carlisle, Latin Grammy award winner Nestor Torres, Christopher the Conquered, the River Monks, Little Ruckus, prettygirlhatemachine, Gloom Balloon, Tokyo’s BRIDGE, Crunk Witch, Freakabout!, Planet Booty, Dominique Morgan, Ellis Hall of Tower of Power, Martha Wash, and Victor Wooten. He also often sings with the Des Moines Metro Opera and starred in RENT as Tom Collins.

Madison Ray’s body of work includes an EP known as The Revolution, Vol. 1, a full length album titled Starship to Mars, as well as the records “Aviators,” “LOVE,” and “Diamonds.” He’s currently working on the follow up EP The Revolution, Vol. 2 which is driven by artist collaboration and will be presented as an audio and visual experience. Madison Ray and his team just want to touch the entire world through art and creativity and to create experiences that leave you better than before.
