Kidd Star Understands What Moves People

Music artist Kidd Star is no stranger to the music and recording industry. From different sounds to top shelf production, the music definitely stands apart. His dedication is no less than the best and putting in the effort to make it to the majors won’t be a surprise in this case. Do not sleep on Kidd Star because the musician has something the listeners have always wanted.

Currently residing in Atlanta, GA byway of DC and New York, Kidd Star began as an underground rave promoter in 2000 and gravitated toward turntables. Remixing and producing with his group 3 Bad Brothaz allowed him to travel all across the country with their branded sound e-hop (electronic hip-hop). Stepping up his production and honing his skills to a more mainstream sound, he charted on Billboard for his single “Rah! It’s Gametime” off his first album Kidd Star & The E-Hop Brigade.

Kidd Star’s accolades are impressive. Superbowl champions Denver Broncos used his single as their intro song for two years straight in 2013/14 and he performed at the NCAA Final Four in 2014/15. He was also featured in the TV show Swamp Murders and the film Michelle Darnell. 2016 saw the release of his second solo album titled Kidd Star & The Weekend Warriors, an album that encompasses all types of genres spanning from pop to trap. “This album is for everyone. I DJ for all kinds of audiences and like to make music that way as well,” he remarks.
