The Colorado resident with Mississippi roots considers himself an unorthodox artist due to experimenting with new ideas and suggestions. Hip hop’s Keezy’s first love of music and is highly influenced by country rap tunes. Layered within his music is bit of an east coast and southern rap style. In 2013 he released a mixtape under the group Real-a-tives titled The Beginning that was hosted Famous Dex’s main man DJ Shon. He’s also opened up artists such as Soulja Boy and Honey Cocaine, and performed at Coast 2 Coast 420 (2015) in Denver.

Keezy has 3 new mixtapes that’ll be released within a 9 month period. One tape’s strictly dedicated to original hip hop and was influenced by J Dilla and Nujabes (Samurai Champloo); it’s self-titled Keezy Got Soul. The remaining two are untitled, one of which is exclusively produced by Keezy himself. With his art having a positive uplifting message, his goals to reach and connect with fans globally
