Jamal G, To Whom It May Concern

“My objective is to heal all of the broken hearts, starting with my city. Being a vessel for Christ by sharing this gift and bringing up our short comings as humans is the mission. Not to downplay those who listen to my music, but to face my own personal omens. These words, lyrics, poems, whatever you choose to call it, they’re my cry for help, they’re my happiness, they’re my prayers.”

Growing up in the poverty stricken neighborhood of Park Heights on the northwest side of Baltimore, Jamal G always sought out better for his life. At the tender age of 5 Jamal started rapping with the help of his two heaviest influences, older siblings (M-Extra and Biggz), molding and honing his craft as a wordsmith. Dropping his debut mixtape in 2010 entitled “To Whom It May Concern,” Jamal reached great success amongst his peers in the city. Opening for the likes of huge artist such as Meek Mill, Wale, and Marsha Ambrosious, Jamal continues to climb the ladder of Hip Hop success.

Gearing up for his debut album entitled “To Whom It May Concern 2: Final Draft,” which is due out later this summer, Jamal took a trip overseas for his first international tour.
