Hazzard, District Empire Entertainment

Born and raised in Washington D.C., recording artist, songwriter, videographer, and photographer Hazzard is also CEO of his independent label and multi-media company named District Empire Entertainment, LLC. His first official mixtape, “Leader of the Pak,” which dropped in 2013, had super producer Pharrell Williams as a surprise guest on his “Great” track and gained him an endorsement through the Rocksmith NYC clothing line. It was solidified by many as a classic project and had more than 10k downloads and views via Datpiff.com. Solidified by MMG artist, Fat Trel, Hazzard is known as the originator of the term “Bait” in D.C. via Hazzard’s Vimeo video page.

Hazzard recently dropped his free album “S.T.F.U.” which has gained a buzz in Miami, Chicago, NYC, and California through promo travels and is already coined one of the hottest projects from an artist coming from Washington, D.C. and the numbers are still climbing. In 2015 Hazzard started District Empire Entertainment as an independent company capable of fostering self-starting artists without the sluggish bureaucracy and cost structure of a traditional major label.

District Empire Entertainment is home to artists such as Toga-Toga, Charlie Wolf, and Hunni DontPlay. They are planning to release multiple projects in the coming months. District Empire Entertainment is not the average company, it’s also home to a working videography and photography enterprise with talks of a clothing line coming as well. It’s not the normal business either, it’s more of a template for the future of a young, authentic, fast-paced, computer-aged music, and entertainment industry.
