GZ Barz, Script Flippa

Gabriel Zagury, GZ Barz, is a 19 year old independent Hip-Hop artist from Montreal, Canada. He combines an old school flow with an array of content-filled lyrics, clever punchlines, and brings back that raw emotion and aggression that Hip-Hop has been lacking in the last few years. Some of his biggest influences are Big L, Method Man, Eminem, and Cassidy.

Hip-Hop has always been a huge part of his life. Growing up in an underprivileged neighborhood with a lot of freedom, Barz was influenced by the street culture at a young age and often found himself getting into trouble with friends around the neighborhood. In 2008, at the age of 13, his family moved to Coral Springs, FL where he attended Coral Glades High School. After leaving school in 11th grade, Barz moved to St. Petersburg, FL and became a sushi chef for 6 months. During this time, he started writing raps with his roommate every now. After getting really great feedback from a lot friends and random people out at parties and events, Barz decided that music was the direction he wanted to take with his life.

Currently living in Orlando, FL, Barz recently released his debut EP “The Audition” on Soundcloud and has been receiving lots of great feedback from all over the underground Hip-Hop community. He’s working with a lot of producers from all around the United States right now including Ill Majestic, who most recently produced songs for Papoose, Bullet Brak, and Killah Priest from Wu Tang. Look out for the “Script Flippa'” mixtape coming soon! Keep up with the movement, GZ Barz is the future of Hip-Hop!
