Goodzie, Developing An Open Sound

Based in Bristol, UK. High Chai’s Goodzie is an electronic bass music producer. With a theme mainly set around Mid Tempo genres, Goodzie explores anything from twerk to house. Set for a futuristic style, dreamy pads, and powerful bass sounds drive the force behind each production creating a signature sound built for the dance floor.

A love for Moombahton triggered his experimentation of the new found genre alongside influences from Munchi, Bro Safari, and Dillon Francis. Still effected by Dubstep and the significant arrival of Skrillex with his crunchy bass noises, Goodzie naturally swayed towards the heavier sub genre, Moombahcore, with his first track “Don’t Mess With Marcellus.” Now two years later Goodzie has grown into developing a more open sound linking Bristol’s ever popular house scene with slower tempos to the style of his latest remix of “Endless” by Capture.
