Furyus, Sessions Of My Mind

“At the end of the day music is something we retreat to, and it is that spark that helps us make it through.”

Furyus, born Markivus Nious in San Antonio, Texas, always displayed a knack for the spoken word and a love for music. After performing the self-written anti-drug song “Drug Free Nation” at his High School Talent show Markivus was enrolled in WBSL AM1190’s Broadcasting Academy and later hired as a full time disc jockey for WBSL AM 1190. Furyus’ Nite Vision Entertainment Records debut “My Thoughts” garnered critical acclaim and rave reviews in various e-zines and also received major airplay on various radio stations in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Furyus recently released his first single “Gotta Do” for his upcoming album “Sessions Of My Mind.”

Furyus has already established himself as a true talent in the music industry having released two albums, “Standing Alone” EP (2003) and his debut full length album “Still Standing” (2005), that received critical acclaim. In 2004 Furyus, in conjunction with Silver-Tongue Entertainment, went on tour to support his “Standing Alone” album hitting cities across the States. Furyus has shared the stage with acts such as Mandi Leigh, Gary Devon, Mr Lif, D-Tension, Mic Sylz, and Killa Priest of the Wu Tang Clan.
