Deuce Kutta, Cold Thoughts

Being in this position has been a dream of Deuce Kutta since he was nine years old. Growing up in Gary, Indiana, he had to strive for a talent that would use his skills to his benefits and knew he wasn’t going to be an average drug dealer or a in and out of jail individual. His parents bought him a keyboard and a microphone and the rest is history. He’s always felt that modeling his craft would take him away from the street life that most men in his city follows.

Deuce’s music is a reflection of the everyday events in his life ranging from love interests, painful moments, and the birth of his daughter and how she gave him a new look on life. In 2002 he formed his own production company named Terry Lee Productions to showcase his beats for the world to hear. That same year he and two of his childhood friends, DJG and C-Money, formed the rap trio Da Negotiatorz but after a dispute disbanded in 2003. That same year, while in Texas, along with rapper MegaMan, formed The Chrome Boyz but after no success disbanded in 2006.

In 2008 after a two year hiatus, Deuce founded TeLee Muzik Group and started work on his first EP titled Cold Thoughts that wasn’t officially released it until 2012. The follow up projects to Cold Thoughts was the 2013 EP The Coolest and 2014’s Cold Thoughts 2 that garnered rave reviews from critics on Datpiff and the Mixtape Factory. In 2016 he’s planning on releasing Cold Thoughts 3 followed by his debut album T.R.E.
