Darnell Little, The Farmer’s Market Society

Darnell Little

Darnell Little was born on March 4, 1994 in Syracuse, NY; flourished in Camden, NJ; and has been on the move ever since his existence. His music is described to some as experimental and unorthodox. His music is heavily influenced by the trials and tribulations of his life. His music has a laid-back and soulful vibe that most musicians lack in this day and age. Darnell was a nominee for the “Most Likely To Succeed” award at the Camden Underground Music Awards and continues to have a cult following on YouTube. He currently goes to Cecil College in North East, MD majoring in Video Game Design and is expected to graduate in 2015.

Darnell announced his move to WF[102] Records in October 2013 and released his critically acclaimed instrumental project “LittleLotus” on Christmas 2013 through the label and Summer 2014 also found the producer/emcee releasing his latest mixtape “XX” which features production from Pete Rock, Flying Lotus, XXYYXX, NAMELESS, Madlib, and more. In 2015 he formed a record label/collective called The Farmer’s Market Society. He released his latest EP “XXI” in March and he’s preparing to release the follow up to his acclaimed instrumental project “LittleLotus” with “LittleLotus II;” expecting to drop on June 19th.
