D. Green, Not Slowing Up

D. Green

Every so often hip-hop is blessed with a new face full of raw talent. Someone with the ability to put words together with a smooth-genuine delivery that makes hip-hop heads and newcomers alike vibe and feel optimistic about hip-hop’s vitality. The time for an “every so often” moment is now and it belongs to D. Green, a young entrepreneur hip-hop recording artist and song writer. Born and raised in the south Bronx section of New York City, D. Green is determined to establish that his borough is far from dead. He started writing music at the age of eleven and it became his way to slip away from the tough reality of growing up in the Bronx. Green used his love for music to channel all of his ideas and emotions. Within two years, it became a passion he would not let up on.

Since 2009, D. Green has put together several solid mixtapes. Most notably is his two-part “Go Green or Go Home” mixtape series and his most recent street album “Top Floor Mind State/Ground Floor Humility” hosted by the one and only DJ Green Lantern. He also had the opportunity to work with talents such as Skyzoo, Emilio Rojas, and was an opening act for J. Cole.

With his determination, dedication, and discipline in the driver’s seat, talent and consistency riding shotgun, D. Green is not slowing up. With the release of his latest EP, “For The F.E.W.,” D. Green is on a mission to be heard, felt, loved, and established in the game he grew to love and respect. This is just the beginning for D. Green and his mission to become a respected voice in hip-hop.
