Craymo, One Love One World

Craymo (2)

Craymo was born Craig Stephen Raymo in Massena, New York and grew up in nearby Ogdensburg, a quiet little city on the St. Lawrence River bordering Canada. Music seemed to possess his soul from an early age as he had always tried to imitate the singers and bands emanating from his little 45 rpm record player. His passion for music lead him to picking up the alto sax as a 3rd grader, to singing in the school choir throughout his schooling, to writing his 1st song at 16, to joining the local vaudeville minstrel group Showtime, to performing in theater.

Feeling the call of the big city, Craig left college and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams. He auditioned to be the lead singer for several bands, but ultimately realized his destiny was to be a solo artist. Under the guidance of record producer David Longoria, they recorded his first professionally recorded song “Love Touch” and filmed his first music video. Then they went on to create several more songs including Craymo’s first EP entitled Be My Girl whose title track was licensed in the indie film Paper Thin Immortals.

On February 1, 2016 he re-released the song “One Love One World” that became a worldwide phenomenon when it initially premiered and was featured on the United Nations project UNESCO. “One Love One World” is an inspirational song about equality, diversity, hope, and world peace. The song also has a strong anti-bullying message. With all the terrorism and war in the world, Craymo thinks the time is right to release the single again to send a message of love to the people of the Earth and to help make the world a better, kinder place.
