Bug$Money, Building A Buzz In Chicago

Eduardo Iglesias, Bug$Money, was born February 21st, 1988 in Chicago’s north side. Living with his aunt and 3 cousins, he began watching professional wrestling and had dreams of one day becoming a wrestler. Due to an abusive household, he turned to the streets for comfort. Caught up in the gang lifestyle in the streets of Chicago, after an early life of crime drugs and violence, he began sharing his experiences with the world through music. Growing up he was influenced by artists such as Too Short, Master P, 2 Pac, Biggie Smalls, 50 Cent, G-Unit, and Jay Z.

Bug$Money began freestyling with friends at school and on the street. In 2008 he formed the group Millionaire Dreams with a longtime friend. Due to his label mate’s incarceration, he went on to push Millionaire Dreams and focus on himself as a solo artist. Collaborating with some of Chicago’s well-known local talent, Bug$Money decided to take things serious. In 2009 he released a low budget mixtape titled Grinding Season. With the same drive, passion, and dedication he put together 4 other projects: My Time to Eat, My Time to Eat Part 2, Bug$Money Power and Respect, and his latest The Anticipation that was released on September 28, 2013.

Bug$Money was 1 of 3 people to win a featured spot on TheSource.com Showcase performing his hit single Ridin and Rollin. It gave him a new fan base as well as a stronger buzz in Chicago. Showing that hard work and consistency pays off in the end, Bug$Money plans to take the industry by storm.
