Brandon Allen, Meeting Another Next Zone

If you could describe Brandon Allen as an artist in one word it would be eclectic. The 20 year old is an upcoming hip hop artist from Maryland with a knack for writing, a natural ear for music, and who’s influenced by greats like Lupe Fiasco, Tribe Called Quest, Common, and Kanye West. He decided to pursue music at a very young age and little by little he has crafted his own peculiar style of music redefining hip hop and rap to compliment his own style and image. With Brandon’s unique sound, versatile flow, and dynamic storybook lyrics, his music parallels drastically from the trap music scene that his area is commonly known for.

Brandon is the CEO and chairman of the DMV hip hop/soul collective MANZ (Meeting Another Next Zone) and MANZ Clothing. Moving through the ranks, MANZ has picked up a buzz in their area as of late which has propelled them to higher heights and bigger opportunities. In 2016 MANZ is going in the studio to release their first joint project following their two group singles “NEWGEN” and “Horus.” With their new manager, Andrew Abell, at the helm of this unstoppable movement, MANZ is determined to be the next influential group in hip hop history.

In terms of Brandon Allen’s discography, he’s released two projects. Immaculate was his freshman mixtape released in March 2014 and his sophomore project was released in February 2015 and is entitled The Regular Tape. He’s also begun working on his third EP which he announced through Twitter and will be entitled If Anyone Was Listening. Recently, he’s dropped his latest single from the upcoming EP entitled Daze which shows a more vulnerable side to the Maryland emcee.
