Blaq Fuego, Bridging Cultures With Music


As a musical artist Blaq Fuego takes form of several genres: Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop, Rap, R&B, and Reggaeton. The Ugandan born lyricist moved to Chicago reaching international levels to further his career in music. He’s been mentored by No.ID and Mikie Da Poet. He’s been featured on exclusive projects with Hip Hop icons featuring Ghostface Killah on his track “Iron Man 2 (Magnetized),” Mikie Da Poet, Empire Isis, Envy, Fancy, Radio & Weasel. Blaq Fuego featured on the “Exploitation of Hip Hop” soundtrack documentary narrated by Mekhi Phifer.

He is the official ring entrance artist for lightweight boxing champion Sharif “The Lion” Bogere (signed to Oscar DeLa Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions) with theme songs “Empologoma” and “Talk Is Cheap;” and soon to be released “Ryse of Champions.” The first single of the 2015 summer is “Kyana” produced by Kwillz. It’s available in stores worldwide.

2015 marks the feature of Uganda’s dynamic duo B.E.T. 2013 B.E.T. nominees Radio and Weasel featured Blaq Fuego on hit single “Amazima.” “It feels beautiful,” Blaq Fuego says about working with new producer. K-Willz a music engineer and producer from his home country. The prime goal is to bridge cultures across the world by means of music. Nothing but Love.
