Benny Block’s Bringing Back The Limelight To The Bronx

When it comes to being musically inclined, Benny Block’s stepping into the music business and is making a name for himself. From innovative and vanguard lyrics to impactful performances and styles, the music’s speaking for itself and people are listening. Don’t sleep on Benny Block because the musician and entrepreneur might just have something up his sleeve that’s purely unexpected.

The Bronx artist is of Dominican and Peruvian decent, and first took his first steps into the United States when he was 4. “My music is inspired by American and Latin American culture. You can find everything from 2 Pac to Celia Cruz on my iPod. I’m fairly new to the game and I have much to prove, but my music speaks for itself,” Benny affirms. After years of music being a hobby he’s become serious and his music video for “Doubts” earned him buzz.

Most recent he released his mixtape titled The Bronx Is Burning and is already working on the follow up. You can expect some boom bap raw rap, some trap tracks, and a lot of Latin flavor in the mix. “My goals are to have fun with this. I’m not out to be the best, but I realize that I should be in the discussion. The Bronx doesn’t really get much play in the hip hop scene these days. There’s some real talent in my borough and I’d just like to shed some light on it,” Benny explains.
