243 Entertainment Stays True To What Hip Hop Is

Music label 243 Entertainment is no new person to the music and recording industry. From diverse styles and performances, the music stands out as an entity all its own. The quality of art, music, and dedication put forth by 243 Entertainment has definitely made a mark and impact on the music community. It won’t be long before you hear their music nationwide and internationally. Major moves are being made.

The Philly hip hop record label founded by Jaay Blizz prides themselves on being true to what hip hop is, grass roots with a modern style. The current roster includes Heat, Gambino, Caesar, Tone Tuck, and Nymiura Lee. The origins of 243 Entertainment stem from a 1996 company that promoted for Def Jam, Epic, and Rocafella records. In 2001 it developed into a fully-fledged label producing beats for local artists and in 2008 released their debut project In Da Dungeon Vol. 1 with lead single “No Id.”

The buzz has been incredible. In 2015 Blizz released his debut solo album U.S.S. (Urban Secret Society) to much acclaim. 243 Entertainment’s focusing on Heat who’s getting home from incarceration and released a buzz record called “Cujo” signifying the big dog’s return to the stable. His solo album is the primary goal and will be followed by Gambino’s solo.
